DARKROOM TOOLS
This photographic series transforms traditional darkroom tools into both subject and medium. The work captures these instruments with a flash while they rest on light-sensitive paper, creating images that merge the photograph and the photographic process. Each piece in the series is self-contained, with the tools and their photographic impressions forming a single, inseparable work. The project documents darkroom photography in the digital age, highlighting the tactile nature of the craft and its physical tools.
Each image is a unique artifact, impossible to replicate exactly, mirroring the nature of traditional darkroom prints.
